The “Camino de la Piedad” itinerary, in its section of Algarinejo, is a linear itinerary that has its starting point in the Carril del Salto, at the junction of the same with the GR-5400 highway, approximately sixty meters to the north from the bridge of this highway with the Arroyo de la Viña (next to the municipality of Zagra). From this place and through a dirt track, which is in very good condition, the itinerary takes a southwest direction running parallel to the Arroyo de la Viña.

It begins at the link between the N-321 Loja - Priego road and the rural road that leaves for the plains of "El Raso" passing through a group of farmhouses that are articulated by the Vía Pecuaria. After several crossings that go north and that are left on the right and after crossing the "Arroyo Palancar", it turns towards the "Raso Alto y Bajo" haciendas, to head gently towards the lands of Palancar. Here the itinerary intersects the local highway Algarinejo - Fuentes de Cesna, the end point of the route and the beginning of Route 10 (Ruta de la Frontera). This route presents several alternatives along the entire stretch of "Arroyo Morales". It starts in the first place from the urban area of Algarinejo, in the direction of the "Molinos del Arrabal". Before crossing the river for the first time, we come across a rest area and a fork in the itinerary towards the right bank (Route C) that leads to another rest area in the middle of the route.

The route starts from the "Molino Chicurro" after accessing it from a crossroads that starts at the Fuentes de Cesna - Algarinejo regional road at the height of "El Palancar".

The route starts from the N-321, which is linked by a flat country road that goes through olive groves, holm oak groves and old farmhouses such as the village of "Cruz de San Sebastián". Without leaving the main road, it connects with the "Realenga or Vía Pecuaria de Loja a Priego", where there are wide panoramic views over the Montes de Granada and the Sierras Subbéticas, due to the altitude of the route. The route begins at the junction with the royal path of Loja in the area of "Chite" (Route 5). After leaving the path to the left that goes to "La Zarzuela", this path descends towards "La Viña".

The route that we travel, starts at the "Cordel de La Viña" junction, the cattle track that crosses the village of "La Viña", one of the best-preserved popular architectural complexes in Algarinejo. After connecting on the right with a series of houses, the path leads us to the "Barriada del Castillo", the origin of this town and the main objective of the route.

The route starts at the "Cordel de La Viña" junction, next to the N-321 highway and at the entrance to the town of "La Viña", a typical village on the muleteer's path where various historical itineraries converged. After crossing the population center, the route goes through magnificent examples of autochthonous holm oak forest to reach the interesting "Hacienda Cortijo del Llano".

This route begins on a road that connects with the N-321, in the section that joins "Algarinejo" with the small town of "La Viña", to gently descend to the area of "El Molinillo", located in an area with meadows old, hundred-year-old holm oaks, cattle troughs and farmhouses among olive groves.

This route starts from the connection with Route 1 (Ruta de la Agricultura). Its route runs along the regional network (NO-2) which, upon reaching the Puerto Málaga node, turns left between olive groves, farmhouses, mills and well-preserved holm oak groves.
